From a police sharpshooter, TAKE YOUR TIME, sniping is about concealment more than anything. Behind trees, lying down, in a dark area, etc. Remember One shot One kill. lead running victims err ah umm......subjects. lol practice practice practice. And play against humans, not computer ai. You need the real challenge to get better.

1. forget about everything said before

2. play in nova games public games only have cheaters

3. there are good spots in all the maps, you find them by seeing where everyone else goes

4. when you get to a spot, prone on it, preferably on hilltop so you see the whole map 360 degrees

5. when you see an enemy, aim at least 2 seconds to be sure and remember lag is what matters, distance does not.

6. if you miss, blame lag, god, your parents for your bad connection

7. if you get shot someone cheats, make it clear to everyone this is a cheater

hey be careful of what hill you go to because you do not always want to go to a hill top. If there are other snipers out there, that is the first places they will look. When you hide, I always go behind my base and overlook the enemy base to see if i can get a quick kill. After about 1 min or so, i move. When u run, DO NOT RUN IN A STRAIGHT LINE. always strafe back and forth. WHen you are running to your spot, stay low and behind the hills. Throught the game do not stay in one spot for more that 10min or so. If you get a kill in that 10min period, I would scope out another spot. When i snipe, I wait to get 2 kills in a 10min period b4 i move. When it comes to your clothing, if your sniping in a dark map, I use the LARV suit. In a sorta deserty area i use ghili but in a straight grassy area, i use no ghili suit or a ghili suit. It all depens where you will be. Well i hope this helps you out man. ummmmm Insomnia this is DF1, um no ghilli's available, what kind of use do u make of the M4 though Bloodlust, CQB, medium range, long range? This is the beginnings of the style you'll need to develop on sniping as well because it too can be done at those 3 levels of distance, I often prefer sniping in close, because it's just too damned funny when ppl can't find a .50 that's within 100m of them
