Ive had my 1974 4x4 for over 20 years. A ford truck rear ended me 6 years ago. I got a new bumper, a tail light and 500 to put in my pocket. He got a totaled out ford and a trip to the hospital.3 years ago a trans am pulled in front of me. I was doing 50+ mph , hit the brakes, cranked the wheel to the right, and knocked that uninsured s.o.b. 150 feet down the road. the lift on my truck caused it to roll on its side, but the lift also saved me from frame damage. the cop who showed up at the wreak hates me [ with no reason ] the trans am has beer cans all over the inside but they dont even look but they search my truck, charge me the tow truck base fee + 200 to tow me 1 1/2 miles and give me 3 tickets that cost me another 700 . they threaten me with arrest on some stupid **** and even threatened my wife, who has never done anything wrong her whole life. sorry but every time i think about that i start going off. so any way i put on a door and a fender and strightened the cab out with 3 jacks a chain and a tree. its all good now. ive built 3 engines for it, ive blowen to bits a rear end but i have never had any trouble with the trany or transfer case. its never left me stranded, and ive never had it in a shop DONT LIFT THAT THING CAUSE U WILL ROLL!!!! I KNOW FIRST HAND
