Damn pinger

So after a very long break from the DF series I've decided to start playing again, mainly DF2 & BHD. I've done a clean install of both games, plus Team Sabre the problem I have is regarding pinger.

In all my years I've never had a problem with it, but after I have installed it, the program refuses to update, so obviously I can not see a server list.

When I bypass the nova login and go straight to public, I get booted after about 10 seconds on all servers. BHD is fully updated and running the latest no cd patch. I have tried uninstalling, deleting the program files, restarting & reinstalling several times but the problem persists! Anyone have any ideas?

will it could be your:

firewall/router setting

stealth mod: disable it
Antiport scan: disable it

the public servers all using some type of anti-cheat software all partys need them to get into a server.

don't think your game is doing it at all.

only a warning:
novaworld stats servers; never use a no-cd patch in them you get banned and account remove

Firewall is set to allow BHD and always has been, which is why I'm posting here really. I have never had any trouble like this before and I've played the game since it's release date.
