maints tip (cleaning out dust)

once or two times a year blow out your tower of dust

CPU Fan and all other fan's blades use a "cue tip" to bush them off with to loosing dust off, then blow them off with some air. hold the blades in place don't let them spend as you blow them off ether and don't press down on them this can bend them out of shape

if you blow them off as it spend may damage them or make them go out of balance. really hold with one hand to blow them off.

if you use a air compressor! no more then 60-PSI.

never touch any parts with the metal tip of the air line.

if you a air can it come with a plastic tube most of the time. OK to touch parts with plastic tubing.

Video cards may have to remove them to clean.

=============
god my was loaded with a lot of dust in the Video card blades and cooling blades

turn the power off and unplug from the any outlet!

once or twice a year may not be enough times either.

Mine should be done monthly at least, if not more.

i find the zalman flower type coolers the worst, they are fantastic at cooling but they also clog up with dust in weeks.

oddly enough i've not cleaned out my comp for a year, and it's still clean. definitely helps that it's on my desk and not on the floor.

hehe i know i posted this before, but this is what some comps end up looking like inside, hence why i wlays have a few cans of air duster handy

I usually keep these (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835888602) in my desktops. Really helps with air and dust flow
