In memory of TKA-Geko

For those of you who may not know the Delta Force community has lost one of there own. 12 year old Ellen Whitney battle tag “Gecko” from TKA- squad passed away last week.

After reading the heart breaking news and reading all the post I felt the need to do something to represent all of us in the DF gaming community. I started a petition in hopes of getting 100’s of DF gamers to sign.

I will then forward the petition to squad TKA and give them the honor of presenting it to her family. Please visit the petition and sign it. Then forward the link to as many people as you can. I sent it to everyone on my icq list and got great response so far.

I played with/against her couple of times on TFD Cust maps, was a good player and a nice person. Petition is signed and so is the forum.

Didn'y know her or play with her, but any death of a fellow DF'er is a reason to morn!

It is a terrible lose to hear about a young child with their whole life in front of them. My prayers go out to her family.

Thanks for letting us know. I'd be happy to sign the petition. I read through some of the other postings and I would highly recommend that you edit some of them out. Even with a terrible tragedy like this people will still act like total a$$e$. Look at number 183 and 212 to just name a few.

I heard about it. NSF put it on our board also and I know we all have our thoughts and prayers with the family on their loss. But is in a better place now and hopefully someday we all will see her again.
