3D CADing my RC car

Lerning Inventor all over again, kind of. And decided a good practice would be to 3D CAD my RC car as there are no blueprints of it () and the wheel assebly has taken me around a day to compleet. Remember that I have to take every single mesurement as I go along so it takes quite some time.

Attached a PDF with an image of it. Don't know how to save it as an image yet hehe

Next will be the connection between the bodyplate and the wheel assembly
Attached Files
File Type: pdf (Hjul + axellås + axel + styrarm.iam).pdf (151.2 KB, 25 views)

cool. post some pics when you get it done!

I like modeling stuff like that in 3DS max. it's like putting together a model without the sticky glue and messy paint.

Used 3D S once with a demo and I missed the possability to make every bit a certain size by inputting mesurements

Inventor, they are both made by Autodesk I have used AutoCad the most so this is a program that I haven't worked with much in the past

Updated wheel assembly now with axel from the differential. And front shockabsorber

About 6 years? haha
Work takes most of the time and then the little free time I have is taken up by driving the thing, will try to do as much as possible but it's hard as there are no mesurments what so ever on anything and there are weird angles

Unfortently nothing at the moment, been having alot to do latley Will hopefully be able to pick it back up again in a few weeks

Plenty of that was actually done at work (later parts ware done at home) when I had nothing to do. Now I have two new work projects with 2 robots +1.

Just one CASE clause in one of the robots is at 1200 rows of code (that is without any linefeeds)
