Dude, download a load of maps from this site..

And if you persist on paying, i think soe of the mappers here would be glad to help you with a custom map pack, while you donate the money to NHQ.

or do you mean real new maps as in terrains? That's something different and i only know a few here that know how that works..

First, i am suggesting something. Your first post didnt made really clear that you wanted unique maps for your tourney only, it only stated that you are in need of new maps.

Second, in what way did i offend you? Tell me that, i dont see anything offencive here.

Third, Yeah you posted your motives, but only that it was for a tourney and that you were appointent to get maps, nothing more nothing less.

Fourth, if i even took the job, the money could be donated to the HQ here.

Now on to your topic again, how much maps do you need?
If it aint to much i might be able to help you out, i only need more details on what sort of maps you want
and what sort of stuff you want in it.

most of these people make maps up to show off their good works. and put them up for free for all.

but if you looking to hire a group of people to do this up for you its cool, other wise if you use the forum here you may get some good pointers as will bad pointers. if you get what i mean.

only a note:
by the way you can't sell these maps even if you pay a person or group of people to make them up for you! they are under copy law Novalogic, inc.

Chief i know this has been mentioned before, NL only owns the copyrights to the dditor and the game. Everything else we dow ith it is ours, the maps made, the savegames made.. We created those, and are allowed to do with it what we want..

But that's all offtopic. Im waiting for Black's reply. maybe he can shine some light on what sort of style maps and how much maps he is looking for.

sorry you pay to use their software and all images as will the file with in it, they hold the copy right it. thats including save game files and maps use from their games software.

you pay to enjoy the use of the game and doing what you like with it.

i call them they said; anything produce or made using their game (any of them games) software they own all copy right to it. its not tobe sold or retail to the public . including all images and file type in their game as will. this include save game files types as will all maps (mis/bms) that have been made! not to be sold anyware at all.

you may share them for free or make them free for downloads to the public, MIS files and BMS files and save game files.

free to share! but not tobe sold or retail to the public, these are undercopy right laws of novalogic, inc

sorry to hit with that but thats the fact of the matter, break the law you be into trouble with them.

this i know when i made them screen savers up (delta Force serials and JOTR) i had to look into it and get their ok to release them to the public. all files in the game or produce by them game is cover by copy right laws 100%

BTW Black, if the whole thing doesn't work out for you, go to the NovaHQ Map Database or the DFBarracks Map Database and get some great maps there. They're all good!

that would be up to novalogic inc, if it runs on their game engine no-mod can be sold at all.

you made a whole game totally
i made a mod that work on your game using files in it so the mod will work using your game software and i turn sell my mod without your ok.

that would cheat you out totally on the money that was made by me on the mod that ran on your game engine software.

acoss the internet you will not find any 3rd party mods for sell.
i know there are over 8000 mods for BF: 1942 game not one of them are for sell that go for any other games as will.

Novalogic inc had mods! they hire to be made for DF: BHD & JOTR and they got all that money for them. by novalogic inc not 3rd party.

now if a 3 party or group of mod makers like to make a mod for a novalogic inc and try to sell it to the public they would need Novalogic inc stamp ok on it.
