New vid card

Thinking about getting an Nvidia GTX460, anyone have it?

I had a GTX480 but I sold it because I wanted to get a camera for when my son is born

Well that's going backwards
GTX460 is still a good card, whoops everything except the 580, 570, and 480. You can expect to max Crysis out at 1920x1200 and get 25-30 fps, over 60 in all unreal engine and source engine based games, and Metro 2033 at high but not maxed, at 30-40 fps.

Problem is I am still stuck with a Core2Duo @ 2.8Ghz so it would be pointless to get anything better than the Gtx 460. I just don't have the cash to upgrade my whole system right now.

Whats the point in people saying it can run crysis at 10,000x20,000 1 million fps.. who actually plays Crysis? xD

But yeah, a mag I read reviewed a bunch of the 460's and they said it had great potential for the price.

You know what, you're right. Metro 2033 is the next biggest resource hungry game, DX11 tessellation and all.

Looks like I am going with the EVGA GTX460 1 Gig.

My 9800 is blowing caps and probably won't last long.
