Flat Ground

Okay guys, because I am really a lazy bugger and can't be arsed to experiment, which terrains have the most flat ground in one place, I am having great fun making my maps but can't seem to create any with quite a few buildings close together because there's not enough open space.

Please help....

squash, squash, squash, squash, squash, squash, squash...if u take the water out!!! u'll have to kneel walk not to make sound!

just click a terrain, then press F3 to see the black areas. trail and error. D4 is good large desert one though. i use to test stuff.

Ok, terran D3 (egyptian sand) and D4 (mostly brown)and GS1 (greens and snow) have the largest areas that are basically flat that I use the most. You can find flat areas easily by loading a terran and pressing the D button at the top left, the flat areas will be black - grey areas represent hills and raised locations.
