And what if a cheat is on 56K ? He gets a new ip every time he login. that means that if you blocked 1 ip he shuts ic down and then login again and the nxt 56k'er logs in and he plays fair. But he cant get in cause his ip is blocked...

that's not what the ip ripper is used for. It can't get you his IP.

Some cable users have liquid IP's which change about 10 times every second. So fixed ip's for cheat blocks are pritty lame. Try something like "black ice" virus detector, im told it can be used some how.

Simply ban the user from your server and go ckeck your ban logs. I've never tired it but i'm sure it's in there somewhere.

The ip ripper turns NK=ekfgjkcnfhfhZSWmkgjil&CK=& (the nove key) into 123.34.567 (The real ip)

Yeh do ~Ban or something like that. to get it in the ban list.

If you get a cheat in, punt him - if he comes back, ban him. Most of the time they dont come back - and most of the time, they dont even go into public games.
