I think "Spybot: Search & Distroy" lets you do it. You can get it from Download.com.

Also try Trend Micro Free online scan. Once it's done scanning. You can delete them.

And of course McAfee has it too.

I've used all three.

Know why they cant get rid of em?

Norton and other antivirus are not able to edit system restore files...that is where the virus put itsself.

try doing it in safe mode??

Well, I had the exact same problem

Use Windows Washer, Ad-Aware SE, and Spybot to delete them from C:/_Restore.

Another option is to delete the C:/_Restore.

But burn your important stuff before doing that.

Me and Chief figured it out as doing this

Disable "System Restore" it will delete all files in Restore folder. this folder is lock by the system no then can deletes these files, by disable system restore all files will be remove and deleted in the folder

ok restart system do scan again you should see all viruse gone, Ps any time you get a virus you have to reset system restore, steps disable it reboot> scan for Virus>No Viruses found>enable system restore>then reboot and have fun!!!

Any troubles contact Chief ADFP

Thanx Again Chief

if you don't have system restore for your OS you can use Goback.

Update to version GoBack 3.21 Deluxe (CD and ESD version)
Release Date: June 16, 2003
OS: Windows 98/Me/NT 4.0/2000/XP
File: gbd_v321b106_usa_update.exe (8,852,480 bytes)
Description: These updates are not compatible with GoBack 3 Personal Edition. For detailed installation instructions, please see the document GoBack 3.x program updates.

Link: http://www.symantec.com/techsupp/fil..._de_files.html

you will be ask for a key code if you don't have one it wills still work only all the options will not be enable.

it work really good with Windows: 98/ME i know of but for Xp family i use to get error can say how good it is till this day. i am trying it out again see how it turn out.

Warning this is a minner: when Defrag the Hard Drive you should disable Goback it be to much for it to record all the files locations and info on each file. so disabe before you defrag the system then after re-enable it.

I find it handy when you have a virus in the system it go back in time before you got the virus. basic the Virus and the register will be back to normal. and if you deleted a file or lost it you can get it back in file search.

will i think they must have fix them errors i use to get none at all.
