hi andy and welcome...hmm DF1 huh...can't remember that far back to be honest. for DF2 i used a hacked or fully opened ed that i d/l'd from probably this site. which DF games do u own...all eds fuction basically the same, if they are unlocked---meaning nova locked or hide some the files in early DF so we had to unlock or open it fully to see all objects in order to place in the map, so if u can read one ed manual u should be able to make maps for any of them...btw my exp is from df1 to bhd only.

i'm doing an event in my MMORPG atm so i'll be gone most of oct, but i'll try check here every other day or so, just not makeing any maps til my MMO event is over.

I couldn't find it here, but here is the DF1 Mission Editor:

You'll also need Pack-It for DF1, I believe... someone can correct me if I'm wrong:

After you design a map in the mission editor, export it as a .bms, then drag it into "Pack-It." Single player maps are a bit of a different story as you'll have to replace one of the existing missions. Hope I remember all that correctly.
