DFHQ Mapping Team

Calling all Delta Force mappers!

We're looking to start up a DFHQ map team
This means we will be recruiting mappers who are familiar with the Delta Force map editor to be involved in projects exclusive to DFHQ including:

• custom map packs (all game types for all DF games)
• MODs

Your creations will be viewed by a couple of thousand visitors each day, think you would like to be part of something like that? yes? then read on.



Members of the Mapping / MED / MOD team will:

• know to use the mission editor for DF1, 2, lw, tfd, bhd or bhd:ts
• have made at least 10 maps (more the better)
• field questions posted in the DFHQ forum about mapping
• work together to produce maps and map packs

the final number of people to be in the team is undecided at this time. I would like minimum of 10 then there is less pressure on everyone.

there will be NO strict deadlines for projects, you will get lots of notice and time to work.


future work will involve Joint Operations.
tutorial writers are VERY welcome to join the team.
YOU will get full credit and recognition for the work YOU do.

Well as long as I can Juggle between my own site and this m8, You can rely on me to be in it.

I have DF2,DFLW and BHD and in 2 weeks TS.
I have got DF1 But have never built maps on it, Due to the fact I Only get a black screen when I try Multi-Player, Even without a Firewall running.

I Try to aim my map making to a realistic look, Rather than the Quake, Unreal types I have seen floating around.

But The Mod side I would have to opt out of, As I have plans in place and ready to go as soon as the tools are released.

Stick my name down guys.....Ive made a number of custom maps on BHD and i will be getting Team Sabre VERY SOON!.....
Id be quite happy to work as a team to produce maps for BHD and TS... in the near future i would like to help with JO as well.
Ya never know....i might even learn how to do dam choppers!

Sounds like something I may get into. I find that I can only get into mapping for all versions of BHD, but I am sure when JOP's is out I will be mapping for that as well. If your intrested lets talk and run through some idea's. Later man, Take Care.

im in there..... can utilize WAC files and multiple triggers. Also very good at detail...I bought BHD-TS just for new items........good missions also
