[DFX] Can't join any game on Novalogic !!

I started getting it last night too around 9 pm and was able to join Hawk's game around 10:15 pm and play until Hawk went offline at midnight.

Then tonight I got on the first time about 7 pm and got the same thing you did.

Once I log into Novalogic everything moves real slow and I get sysdump just trying to join a server or even Exit Novalogic and trying to quit the entire program, I get sysdump.

It's Novalogic, it's not us.

Here's a screenshot showing even the graphics on the screen don't show up correctly.

Anyone else has issue with Novalogic?

Email THQ Nordic. I have emailed them before about Novalogic server in 8/2019, 6/2020, 7/2020.

They replied to me in each one of those 3 instances so they are in charge of Novalogic and their servers now!!

Let them know there are still 100s and 100s of people playing Novalogic online every week and they need to take better care of their servers.

I am also getting SYSDUMP when I click on Exit the game.

If this is the end of Novalogic online game playing, we had a good run but it's still sad.

Been playing since 1999 and back then I was on a 52k Dial Up.

I made many friends playing Novalogic online and some of them have passed on.

Seen some go on to have family and kids just like I did.

It's like one big family.

I try to reply in that thread and got the message I did not buy Joint Ops and I can't reply in it because I don't own a copy of Joint Ops.

I think it's like that for all of us but if you do as Mega.Man suggested -

1. log in to the games menu but DO NOT join any server (that will only confuse the nova server and get you a sysdump) DO NOT EVEN click on "game", "my character", "host" or anything, just drop the mouse dead as soon you click on log in,

2. instead you wait and do something else until it get stable (for me it took like 5-7 minutes) then join without any problem.

edit : today it took like 2 min. Improving, lol

Hey it worked for me!!

I log in.

I click on PUBLIC CAMPAIGN.

Then I did nothing and after about 4 minutes all those white squares not showing anything turn into green dots and I was able to move the mouse, the music stopped cutting off, I could join a game.

What is wrong with it?

I just log into Novalogic via Delta Force Xtreme and then went to the server listings and everything is running normal.

Green dots show up right away. Music didn't break. Mouse move fine.

Joined a server, no Sysdump. Exit the game back to desktop, no Sysdump.

Now I can't even get on Novaworld.

Strange thing is I still have a copy of Delta Force Xtreme on my computer I use for Stock Maps and Stock Maps servers.

Just a clean install from the disk and then the official update 1.6.9.

I just went to it and click on Update and it connected to Novalogic server and was trying to download a new update several MB in size.

I killed it before it did. Don't want to mess up my copy.

So something at Novaworld is still running and responding and connecting.

I truly hope it's now permanently fixed for a while.

But when I started the Delta Force Extreme unmodded version, the direct from factory CD install, version 1.6.9, and did an update, it still connected to a Novalogic update server and downloaded a file, decompressed it and then said no update needed.

Played til about 11:00 pm last night and went to sleep.

Then this morning about 2:30 tried to get back on and it was down including this entire Novaworld forum and Novalogic website.

Now both sites and the game servers are up again.

Up and down, up and down. Wish they would make up their mind and at least post an update on Novaworld forum or on Novalogic old main page on what is going on .
