Need Help: Installing and Configuring LW on a modern platform
My system:
Windows 7 64-bit Intel Core i7-4810MQ CPU 2.80GHz 16.0 GB RAM Intel HD Graphics 4600 Today I tried to install my copy of Land Warrior off my disc on to my C drive. Got the updates and ran the program in single player mode to see how the handling fared. I was surprised that for the most part it was okay, except for some occasional glitch in the screen when I'd turn my character. For the most part that doesn't bother me, but the problem is that when I raise the scope on my gun, the cross-hair inside it is not showing up, so I have no way to centre my shot. I see some bits of this cross hair inside the scoped when I turn, but for the most part it's not there. What I tried to do was to scale back all my settings and to run the .exe file in Windows XP in both service packs 2 and 3 compatibility modes. Nothing worked. Has anyone with a similar set up to mine found a way to tweak their Windows 7 settings to get a cleaner/non glitchy screen? My laptop is from work, and it's much more powerful than my personal one, which runs very slow. I'm running out of space and am thinking about deleting my Virtual Machine with Windows XP. It would be great if I could run it outside of the VM. |

Are you running the game in a VM right now? If so that could possibly be the issue.
It might be because of a key mapping.. I'm pretty sure there is a key that will show/hide the cross hairs. I don't know what it is off hand though. I found this: http://keycard.mogelpower.de/t/dflw.pdf What do you mean glitch in the screen when turning your character?
