PHP Nuke is average coding but slow - to - load and easy to hack (that's what makes it avearge coding) personally I'd go with e107... it's fast, nice, etc.. and it offers free cjb.net domain, yet those are already free lol. reminds me when anohter hosting company charged for .tk domain names (yet got the free ones) ... tsk tsk tsk lol

I personally use OcPortal for my sqaud site. has a free version, works like a charm and im betatester..
Im learning alkl ins and outs of it.

I think it is 1 of the better portals to use.

.tk with ads are free, without they cost. An ad is a deterrent for traffic to your site so it would be vice to pay.
