New Connection To Novaworld?

A friend of mine, just bought DFX for the first time. We tried to help him install it and get to NovaWorld for hours last night and today. He installed, updated, and registered the game correctly. He put it in his Trusted Sites list. He put it in his Excpetions list. We even had him reinstall the game several times. We had him delete the Cache files and game.cfg several times. We had him open the router ports. We had him try it without the router. We had him try it without a Firewall turned on. NO MATTER WHAT WE TRY, the screen FREEZES UP on "Connecting to NOVAWORLD". The CD is a brand new CD, and the Single Player works with NO PROBLEMS. Any ideas on why it will not connect?

He found the Connection problem and fixed it. An old FireWall that he thought was TOTALLY GONE because he deleted it, still had remnants running in the background, and was blocking his logging on to the DFX NovaWorld site. He got on to my DC's--DM with no problem after getting rid of those remnants of that FireWall.
