anyone else waiting for a new release?

even though DFX hasnt been out that long, i seem to be waiting for a news announcement from Novalogic about a new game.

even when they announce a new game it will still be many months generally before a release.

it just seems quiet at the moment IMO :/

I'm with ya Steve. The thought has crossed my mind many times. I hope it is Special Operations in N.Korea and/or China.

they need to re-write the game engine unfortunately, so a new game is either gonna be very similar in terms of any flaws, or there is gonna be a new engine made well fingers crossed

Ok im alittle off today so if i aska dumb question bare with me.

Can't they make a new DF2? I mean theres so many oldschoolers that left because it was getting old fast, i bet if they update df2 but keep it oldschool, more people will come back.

i believe that was the aim of DFX, i think that is the closest to a df2 remake that will ever happen. unless Nova release a SDK / source code for DF2 ... don't hold breath.

would you just like DF2 with up-to-date graphics?

I am so agreeable this morning...I wish they had a briar-wrapped-cob of the roughest Indian corn percussively reminding them what they have done to my favorite games of all time...

i dont blame them for being tight lipped, every time they make an announcment regarding a new game theres pressure on them to get it out, what noone knows dosent hurt them and it gives them as much time as they need ot develop the game...

Still, China, Taiwan and US special forces willk be a bloody good plotline....

im with ya too,i played every nova game (mostly demo) and i always liked it cant wait to get my hands on a new nova game
