it does matter really because you said the best connection, on what terms do u base 'best' on?

i can say that vDSL is the best because it gives upto 52Mbps, whereas adsl can only crank out 8 - 10 Mbps.

Wow where do you live? In NJ aDSL only gets MAYBE 1mbit.

New high speed protocol
According to the National Geographic, scientists working at the California Institute of Technology have developed a new data transfer protocol for the Internet fast enough to download a full-length DVD movie in less than five seconds. The protocol, dubbed FAST (Fast Active queue management Scalable Transmission Control Protocol) is capable of 8,609 megabits per second by using 10 simultaneous flows of data over routed paths. The new protocol will likely be used in conjunction with Internet2, eventually allowing researchers to more easily work with and transfer massive amounts of data.
