I downloaded this mod unto my computer it crashed in the middle of hosting a mission. So download at your own risk, and be sure that you have an extra pc. You will need it

PS Novalogic, inc made mods for retail but if its a free mod then it not supported or a unnamed mod don't help ether were other maybe able to point you in the right direct to get it working

2.) Operation System you running Windows XP...Windows Vista......ect

I doubt it's a virus. If it's crashed then it's probably your computer or your internet...

you really need to tell us more what you got going on there, we don't read minds here and can't tell you how to get it to work.

flame about "buyer be beware" is really no good many have many mods and most are free to download from many sites, and NL sold only one Mod to buy so really don't know were you coming from.

i read some of his other post and it maybe IC mod he talking about? but its a freebie not one would buy at all.

it could be:
1.) bad download
2.) his system hardware maybe low key and can't handle it
A.) Video card is not up for the job
B.) PSU maybe over heating and when he plays the MOD it over heat and system crash, same for the CPU & GPU.

but again we don't have all the details he don't like to talk about his system or clue us in.

i know other who have play this MOD JOTR: IC and their system can handle it and have no trouble with it.

best check your event log see what is really going

right click-on> My computer> manage> (click-on once to open ++) + event

look for error with a red-X then read up and see what is going on.

again please think we are totally blind what is going with you.
look into Application, system

JOTR is for highend system, if your system can't match what the game is made to run on could crash it totally.

you could take it to a computer center repair and have them look over it as will, could be your PSU is under power to handle it 450W or more power is better for it to handle the load of power its needed to run this game and system. 250W will not handle it and system will crash off the back

the mod that I downloade was international conflict for jotr. After playing the game awhile my pc crashed while I was hosting a server in that game. So that is why I am warning peeps to beware of these mods. Actually the game jotr has bugs in it itself. So unless you have a pc that you can throw away don't but this game. DF2 is making a come back and is much more fun.

here the thing "Buyer Beware" did you pay for a free MOD for this game? if so report it to novalogic.com the game is copy right.

there is no Buyer Beware for a free item, and it will none that it states that there is no support for this or novalogic will never support a 3rd party mod why you think they should is not their fault to think anyway other then that your a fool to think so.

you like to get help there is hell of a lot of sites on the INTERNET! were you may get other to help you out and give the right asker you need.

and just because it crashes, doesn't mean you have to trash your computer. Every thing crashes at some time, its just part of computer life

all so in the setting in windows there is a item that will close down windows if it thing something is going bad, a lot of gamers disable this item to make it stop, i bet you never disable it have you?

Steps to disable auto reboot:
1a.) Start> control panel> open "System" at bottom you see it> "advanced"
tap at top click-on it> bottom or near the bottom click-on "Startup and recovery" go click-on "settings" to the right> in the center you should see "Automatically restart" uncheck it then click-on ok! should stop system from rebooting or restart.
1b.) ok after that point click-on ok back to "System Properties" now go to [Error reporting] down blow you see it, click-on it to open next item new window should open up you see in it "disable error reporting" doulble check it so it not check in it (uncheck it) then click-on ok.

windows is real bad when it don't know how to handle some games it will close down on you, like it crash totally

best check all you hard ware see if there been any new flash drives release for it, at the make of the hardware site.

sample: unltra made the floppy you go to thier site and look up in support area for newer release flash drives and same for the MOB if you know the maker of it and the model it is, look into support are for all the Flash drive for each item

flash drives can very in file size from 2kb way up there 100mb plus more, counts what added in items or changes to make to make a item work better, there maybe glitch in their drivers/ software for the item to work, so they release newer updated flash drive. follow what they tell you do in the information. as in DVD/CD and Writer as will when updating them flash drivers never have a disc in the drive bay must be empty when update a DVD/CD rom or witer, for MOB most have a flash drive to be loaded into a floppy or you can install it from Desktop count what one you download and how it was made tobe install from...

bois flash drive! if you not 100% to install it don't you may install the worng bois chipset update for your MOB and fry it totally

you would go to intel.com then looking the MOB insearch there then lookup updated drivers (Flash drives) that been release.

having a brand new computer don't mean it new could be seating in a warehouse for years and all the time it was there! newer updates been released onto the world for that system. always check for newer updated drivers for your system same goes for Video cards and soo on.....even video capture cards as will...ect
