I get unable to open earlyerr.txt and unable to open voice macro strings then it crashes.

I copied my dfx (which worked fine) folder to delta force extreme SO and then installed mod to SO folder, hit shortcut and nothing.

any help?

nvm think i found the problem, installed to my C drive not E drive.

I did to what you said, however I didn't realise the installer defaulted to C drive i only saw the last bit of hte address novalogic \delta force xtreme SO which was exactly what I named mine so I thought it had detected it. No need to get jump about it dude.

A suggestion, to avoid all this, it wouldn't be that hard to make the installer copy the users DFXtreme directory to Novalogic\Delta Force Xtreme SO then automatically install to there wouldnt it? It'd be a simple file system object call.

Here is a couple links for the mod but for some reason (probably operator error) we cant seem to connect to each other we keep getting that pending connection notice and never connect to each other. Ill get a screenshot again to better explain ( I forget the exact wording for the connection) But it looks like its trying to connect and never does.

The reason it doesnt automaticly detect the install is because it needs to go into a copy of the original. I set it up with a default directory and if the person installing it names their folder different or has it on a slave drive then they can change it.

Hey tech, why dont you put the alpha version up instead of the beta and the updater. the installer works better.

yea he's right so make a new folder under the dfx folder called "expansion " then make a new folder called " DFX SO MOD " under that.... then copy ALL of the original DFX files to the" DFX SO MOD " folder

then install the dfx so mod in the " DFX SO MOD " folder...
