HOPE THERE NOT BANGING OUT A QUICK BUCK, I THINK PEOPLE HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO BE CRITICAL OF THEIR GAMES. WE SPEND A LOT OF MONEY ON OUR CPUS AND INTERNET, THE HARDWARE IS THERE TO RUN HIGH END GAMES, SO PEOPLE SHOULD EXPECT HUGE IMPROVEMENTS, SURE THEY ONLY RELEASED 4 SCREEENSHOTS, THEY DO LOOK OK BUT NOTHING TO TRULY BRAG ABOUT. WE SHOULD BE CRITICAL, BECAUSE DF FANS SHOULD EXPECT ONE HELL OF A DF4, COME ON ITS BEEN TWO YEARS SINCE THE RELEASE OF DF3, ITS ONLY NATURAL THAT PEOPLE ARE DISAPPOINTED AND THEIR EXPECTATIONS ARE HIGH. I ALREADY AM DISAPPOINTED SEEMS TO BE ANNOUNCED AND RELEASED ALL TO SOON, NO DOUBT I WILL BUY IT. HOWEVER, BEFORE ANY ONE DOES CHEW MY HEAD OFF, I DO THANK NOVA FOR DF SERIES OVER THE YEARS, IT HAS GIVEN ME SOME GREAT TIMES AND HAVE MADE SOME GREAT FRIENDS

.....it's been less then a year in a half since Df3 came out.
Anyway, 17 new guns......I can't wait.

The new press release says it is a stnd alone mission pack for DF3.
I said that that was what it looked like when I saw the first screenies.
All I am bothered about is the multiplayer gameplay nad if they have simply added 17 new gun skins to the DF3 engine what are the chances of it slowing the game down, given that it is not a re-write of the game core as for instance in the move from df2 to dflw?

I dont know. I think playing as 10 different specialties is a gimmick that will mean nothing to team tactics, 60 days down the line.

I will buy it. Just a little dissappointed that it appears this isnt in fact a new game at all.

i agree ...at least they could change the lil menu in the bottom left corner.....and then everbody freaked out a few days ago when they put out more screenies...and i almost threw up...cause there still wasnt a difference!!!

Also it doesnt look as if they have addressed the fact that the compass doesnt actually work.
They stuck in a range finder that shows buildings and personal in relation to you but it doesnt matter which direction you point North is always directly ahead.
Pointless.

in all heinseight i still enjoy playing delta force, and do welcome any changes to the game, guess i cant wait to play dftd, sounds like there are quite afew changes, allso i never really considered, all the other games ive tried playing and never played again like ghost recon, like other people have pointed out, graphics arnt every thing, df is good for the freedom to move around where ever you want, i suppose they will bring out superior graghics sooner or later in the mean time ill still enjoy playing delta force.
