The invention of the personal computer is having an effect on our lives equal to, if not greater than, that of the electric light bulb, telegraph, and telephone. The Altair was the most popular early personal computer. It was programmed by flipping switches on the front panel. Its output was simply a pattern of lights. Communications, word processing, and other applications required additional components.

But why didnt you tell them you guys won the voting for world language by cheating? there was only 1 vote difference between the fine Dutch and the rude English language. lmao. If those jack-tars wouldnt have cheated Dutch would be the world language.

you guys drive on the wrong side of the road. lol My grandmother was on the first team to build the first atom bomb dropped on Japan. The plant was in Oak Ridge Tennessee. She ran the super computer(if you want to call it that) that controled the machines that made the fuses for it. She has proof of that too. They didnt tell them what they were making at the time, just that it would change the war and the world.
You say penicillian was invented by an Aussie and Stevie by a englishmen....Stevie is partly right, his name was Sir Alexander Fleming, but he was a scotsmen. Chances are that the computer you use had a processor that was designed and produced by Americans....Both Intel and AMD are American Companies....

Youre right but the penicillian it was invented by englishman as a vay to stop bacteria spreading, but the aussie found out that it could kill bacteria not just surround it. Quote:
Ahh but i'd bet that the metal used to make the chips is form aus. And for any cricketers here: Sir Donald Bradman was aussie. (for the yanks here bradman was the best cricketer that ever lived with a batting average of 99.94, the standard these days is 40) EDIT: We make the cars, we decide what side of the road is right lol Last edited by (Old); 11-02-2002 at 09:41 PM. |
