360 leaps ahead.

If you haven't heard yet...Microsoft blew away the competition at E3 today...

1. Facebook and Twitter on the 360...
2. 3D RGB camera system that has a language analyzer for voice commands and character based games...
3. Games on Demand (use credit card to download 360 game to HD)
4. 1080p tv streaming
5. Then come the games....FF13...MGS5...MW2...Left for Dead 2...Halo 3 ODST....Halo 4???(Halo: reach) the list goes on...

i just hope they dont make an xbox 720 like someone else here said in their thread, bcuz if they do, i dont know what they're gonna change, the 360 is perfect, im not trying to start a debate or anything, but they need to make a new playstation if anything, its too big, they need to make it so it doesnt take up a whole dufflebag to carry it, the only thing wrong with the 360 is the rrod, well, and that it can overheat, if it doesnt have the cooling system like my elite does

The Sony and Nintendo show is tomorrow, it will have to be very good to top Microsoft. MGS5 and FF are big additions for MS, along with the other long ass list of exclusives or titles avaliable on the system. Not only that but they announced many times before that the next console is years away which makes me very happy because I hate speding money every couple years for a new console.

You forgot to mention the xbox motion system (http://www.engadget.com/2009/06/01/m...-for-xbox-360/). While I probably wouldn't like it very much because I like controller gaming, the motion capture device they showcased was absolutely brilliant. I was blown away by how well it worked too.

Along with Netflix, Facebook and Twitter intergration, you will also get Last.fm radio intergration for free, full title games on demand, and full 1080p streaming movies on demand. The zune marketplace (similar to itunes) is also going to be avaliable on the system.

Microsoft is going to be hard to top this year... I'm very happy 360 owner right now.

P.S. There is no reason so expect a new xbox system...

however there are 2 new versions of the zune rumored....

The Zune HD

and a gaming version of the zune that allows you to download xbox live arcade titles and xbox originals from your account/system and play them on the go.

The need for a new xbox I think can be heralded by Peter Molyneux Project Natal demo with the young bot that chats to you. It's a show demo but the 360 hasn't the power to hold large amounts of responses in a setup like that particularly if large quantities of speech bits are required.
I'm not certain how much more info on the dashboard my box can take either. New dashboard is nicer but it's by no means fast loading.
Forza 3 looks the dogs bollocks though. Can't wait until some of these games start coming out.
It's sloooooowwwwww this time of year.
