How do i get my levels to have the extension .bms so i can play them?

You are using the DFXMED (Delta Force: Xtreme Map Editor). If you are using NILE, you'd be better off using MED, cause its easier.

I got NILE of the cdrom. From looking at Edges response i was under the impression that DFXMED and NILE were two different programs, are they?

That is partially true, both are to make maps, but the difference, imho, is in the userfriendly interface.

Look in your DFX folder for MED or DFXMED, thats the "easy" mapmaking tool
