Talk about a dry argument and you can drop the skinny bit too.
You've been trying to fatten me up for years, like just the other day? Check it out folks, this is just a few leftovers!!!

K, I'm not taking it personal.

We should all lose weight ... me especialy.

I know I'm fat ... and I'm trying to lose weight.

I can see that you put me at the top of the list ... (and it's called duh , not "dah").

I know I can lose weight ... but can you please lose the attitude ?

This topic you made sucks !!! What the hell are you trying to accomplish ?

Umm an M16a2 is nowhere near 70 lbs. with a fully loaded mag it's just over 8 pounds. If I'm missing some humor in your statement, I'll ask for an explanation.

There is no humor I think Mermite is trying to show he is better than all the fat people.

Otherwize, he is just trying to show he is smarter because he is not as fat as dave61 , or "poor old" Hellfighter, or Scott(admin).

Correction: 7.0 kilos ..(with a glass stock) 7.0 x 2.2 = dah! 15.5 pounds,and loaded maybe 16.0 pounds.

70 pounds if I remember is the weight of an average field/assault kit, icl. alice pack webbings, belts, grenades spare clips, food, comms kit and don't fergit ya cell phone..lol oh mozzie cream,,,lol

Correction: 8.79lbs with a 30 round mag. I happen to own an AR-15 and the Army 9-1005-319-10 operator's manual that came with it. It covers the specs for M16A2,M16A3, M16A4, and the M4/M4A1 Carbine.

M16A2/M16A3

Caliber.........................................5. 56mm
Weight.........................................w/30 (loaded) round mag approx 8.79lbs
Length.........................................w/compensator 39-5/8 in
Mechanical Features.....................Rifling (RH 1/7 twist)
Firing Characteristis:
Muzzle Velocity..........................3100 fps
Chamber Pressure......................52,000 psi
Cyclic Rate of Fire.......................700-900 rpm (approx.)
Max Effective Rates of Fire:
Semi:.........................................45 rpm
Burst/Auto..................................90 rpm
Sustained Rate of Fire.................12/15 rpm
Max Effective Range......................550m (individual/point targets) 800 (area targets)
Max Range....................................3600m
Fire Selector..................................SAFE-SEMI-BURST (M16A2) SAFE-SEMI-AUTO (M16A3)

Even with the heavier quad rail system on mine it's nowhere near 16 lbs. lol

I am a bit

But....

M4/M4A1 Carbine is my favorite weapon of all time, it's the one "I'd" want at worlds end.
Compact, accurate enough IMO at ranges likely to be encountered in congested urban or vegetative environments, (not likely to end up in a desert or low scrub situation) brutal stopping power, semi-auto fire, robust, low maintenance, a real gem.

Could you post the specs for us skiller?
