that's gud its just I have run into not just ham radio software gone but how to build antennas and stuff gone for ever but also some nova logic gaming sites are gone and stuff for halflife stuff are gone so you never know when any site will belly up and there are a number of nova gaming sites that link their downloads and that preturbes me esp when link is broken and its the only link in town... I tried 5 times to download a file from nova outpost each time @ 80% the download croaked I copy pasted the link into a word program and the download was linked...and yep they paid for wasted bandwidth...
found the same file here first try it got stuck @ 1% the 2nd try was successful..
which is why I commend you for having the downloads on site...

Sorry for your unpleasant experience at Nova-Outpost, in the end im happy you found the files you were after.

We have cloud hosting with all files on the server. hosting is in Australia but it shouldn't be a problem. Seems to be working fine down under

BSF: It might be helpful to let us know which file you were having trouble with. I know Blade has spent quite a lot of time on his website just by browsing the files database. It takes a lot of time and dedication to collect files for these games, especially since they are scattered all over the internet and a lot of people only want links to their website instead of adding the files to our own websites. Most of those websites are now dead so the files are now lost.

I do host all of the files linked on NovaHQ on our own server that I personally control. In the past few weeks I've went through every single download and (with a automated program) map in our database and not one dead link was returned. I've also spent a lot of time adding files and cleaning up old information. Nothing is more frustrating then losing maps, mods and skins to downed websites and dead links. If you find something not working, let me know what it is and I'll get it fixed. If you find a file not on NovaHQ, you can easily submit it from the main page.

the missing med pix file but I got it now...sorry bout all that its just I get
frustrated when trying to locate and download a file that I need really bad
and file not found pops up cause the hosting site is gone..ran into some of those the other day looking for some ham software and the med pix faulting out at 80%
just set me off...sorry
