BHD interview with Wes Eckhart

A few days ago Marcus Beer (PR NovaLogic) told us about an interview with
Wes Eckhart (producer at NovaLogic) and GameSpy.

Some interview topics:

GameSpy: Have you had any praise or criticism from the U.S. Army over this game?

Wes Eckhart: Unofficially they like it, but they've made no official comment.
Our experts don't represent the military here, they represent themselves, but we haven't heard either way from the military.
I have to stress the fact that (the advisors') praise or acceptance of the game is in no way an endorsement from the U.S. Army.

GameSpy: The game is due in February? On all platforms?

Wes Eckhart: The PC version is due in February. The other platforms are to be announced.

GS arcade is so horrible. It is very unreliable.

Why? lol its coo... I use it all the time..

I don't like it cause it's just one more useless thing to isntall. and keeps bugging me to pay for it. Ad's all over, you can't close it before you load the game and it lags me up.

lol you can close it before a game matter of fact!.. you just have to right click on it in the toolbar realy fast before it launches the game and hit close when you right click

I would much rather the in game browser that LW/TFD/DF2 use.

i don't use Game Spy because:

IT CHANGES MY IP ADDRESS RENDERING MY INTERNET USELESS

there is a problem with it or with some of the cable companies in the UK. me and my m8 both have broad band and whenever we use G.S. we have to unplug our cable modems and totally reset them to get our proper IP addies back.


All Seeing Eye is better than G.S. - works ok for free also.

supports all the same games as G.S. and is genrally better

i don't use Game Spy because it has too much b/s in it
did use it befor for mech-warrior 3 i unstill it really fast lag like hell plus i found it like gator a lot of ads and spyware in it talk about lag no thanks hell they start hosting DF:BHD or any of them i trash the games all together.

hate game spy if novalogic gose for GS they can kiss thier money tree good bye

why does everyone seem to think that BHD will be a gamespy game? theyve givin interview to them so what? remembe people they are trying to promote a game.
