some game software maker make it both ways, two type versions

not all have a DVDrom to use and so they come out with a CDrom version only it like 5-6 Cd to use to into the system.

sample: LoinHead came out with>
PC DVDrom
Black and white 2
DVD 1 or two (been a long time play it)

CDrom
Black and white 2
Cds 5ea

9 outs 10 i think it be a DVDrom only

but in 5-10 years it be blueray way things going and not DVDrom DVD R for game software makers

if the spec says

800MB Free Hard Drive Space

that it will be on 1 CD. unusual for new games these days


i dunno what to think tbh, need to wait for more info, but the same thing has happened as before - promises of this and that and to quote another thread:

Was in the game server and ravenn said that MTR Soft will be the publisher for Europe. I'm assuming maybe Vivendi or someone else will be the publisher for outside Europe?

i think they used Sierra before (which is part of Vivendi iirc), that would make sense because of their previous close ties. but i'm sure NL have published their own games before.

How many new games that come out still show support for windows 98?

How many new games that come out featuring decent graphics can install on 800mb of disk space, even when they use a dvd?

take cod4 - been out for a long time.

Does not support any thing before windows XP
Comes on a dvd, yet still requires over 1gb of disk space to install (based on the box, it requires 8gb of disk space).


Also, as some one pointed out - every game on that mtrsoft website has the exact same system requirements.


I have posted this info on other websites, but when I did, I did it as a rumor, because until I see novalogic release information any thing that comes from any one else but novalogic to me is just that, a rumor.

as far as I'm concerned, we have all this info, yet really don't know much about angel falls other then it exists and is in beta testing.

They posted the splash screen on the novalogic site in early 2008...and release date july...that sure is 1.5 years in my eyes

you dont know much about game developing do you? crytek started on crysis soon after farcry was released and there was a huge number of years between releases. average time for development is 2-3 years and 6 monthes beta/bug fixes. Nova droped The Unit around 2 years ago when it was beta testable and started on this game. so that puts them within average development times.

In my opinion they need to take Delta Force back to it's roots and not try to hash it with JO. Missions should be infantry based...sure there can be vehicle insertions but the idea is that you are a DF operator not a pilot or stryker commander...

Dunno what's up on your end but me playing DFX at 56k in a full server is the same as me playing DFX on ADSL. I've never gotten screwed with their lag tool.
