Tongue Another Question

Well first off I must be the only person here with questions or something because no one ever replies. lol

Anyways my question is this I was looking through the MED and noticed a few markers I never noticed and wondered what they do. Recently I asked how to spawn at another place after being killed in a SP/Coop map. The markers name is "LFP Spawn" Now I’m guessing that could have something to do with it but I’m first wondering if anyone has ever heard about it or even knows about how you use it. "To Steve: before you say go look in the med manual" I already looked from page 26-40 through the markers and other stuff. . . . . . . Another marker that caught my eye was the marker named, "Briefing Map Center" same question to that. Anyone know about it or of it?

Would be a great deal of help if someone could answer that for me. . . .

BTW Does anyone know how to detach an AI from a vehicle after placing one in it? I want to make an effect of a black hawk landing and people jumping out to say HELLO! . . .

Cry Sorry Linker...

The LFP spawnpoints don't seem to function in DFX, unless there's something I'm missing. They work just fine in BHD and JO.

What I do (works in co-op games) is I link a Blue-Player waypoint to an event. Once the event has been fulfilled, that waypoint becomes the next spawn point.

Smile use a subgoal

Let's say that EVENT 06 says:
If Group (Goofy Goons) DESTROYED
then WIN Subgoal 1

And let's say that the group Goofy Goons is located at waypoint 1, 3 (Checkpoint Charlie). So you have to go to Charlie and wipe out all the bad guys there.

Now, on your map, highlight Waypoint 1,3 and open the INFO Window for that waypoint. Notice that underneath the box labled, "Waypoints" and "Name", it says "ADVANCEMENT EVENT".

Open that pull-down menu and click on EVENT 06, which is the event that wins sub-goal 1 (above).

What this does is it will not allow the next waypoint to be displayed until Event 06 has been fulfilled. Once the event is fulfilled, the next waypoint will show up on your spin map and ALSO- this waypoint will become everyone's new spawn point.

i know that the briefing map center marker is for multiplayer maps,

if you place that marker in the middle of your map with your SNAP on, everybody who`s playing your map can give the coordinates of where he is at the moment so team members won`t kill him if they see him.
