Little Problem

I’m making a map and I seem to run in to the floor vanishes when I walk out side of the hanger. When I look down I can see through it like its clear, when in and out of the hanger it works fine. I've check the med, making sure the hanger and the dock touch and everything is snug. Just seem to vanish. Can walk on it though. Weird.....

Take a look

probably a building glitch, they start occuring from DF1 Med, when you put to much buildings in the vicinity.

Might wanna try tolower the amount of buildings on that spot.

RollEyes It won't work

You cant put a hangar or the "large warehouse for weapons storage" on a concrete pier or slab. I found that out in Land Warrior, and it still has the same effect in DFX.

The Indonesian HQ buildings work ok on a slab.

The only way I could build a hangar over water was to build it manually out of other pier pieces. (Makes a great hangar!)

NOTE: I think the reason for this is that the hangars do not have a 3-D floor. They only have a single surface to attach the tiles to. Any building that has a "thick" 3-D floor can successfully be placed on a pier or slab.

you could use planks but it would take up too many objects... try raising the building that is on the slab a slight bit (so its off the slab (but not enuff to notice that it is) <that shud work

Hard One To Solve

Hard One To Solve

Usually glitching happens since the original day of DF1. Try patching the floors up or something with objects or whatever fits you perfectly.

The problem was the hanger was touching the dock piece. It made the dock glitch. Doesn't really matter. that map is now the second most downloaded DFX map. you should see it. You'll love it.
