Great news for me & gehq.com
I'm so thrilled I had to come home and tell somebody.
I've made a wonderful contact this evening with a well known Author. We had a nice dinner at a friends cabin out on a beautiful lake. She has invited me to a Film Festival May 13 and 14 to which she serves on the Film Commission. She wants to introduce me to many of her contacts from all over the Nation coming to this Festival. I'm really excited. This is huge news for the literature and movie sections of gehq.com. I will be meeting some important players in the Entertainment Community from NY to LA. I also have a guy interested in leading the Sports section. He's not a College graduate but he knows his sports. He will write for me for nothing. I'm thrilled about that also. Also, heh. Another woman that I had dinner with is interested in writing reviews for novels. She is a very knowledgable person and knows her books. She may want to write articles, reviews and conduct interviews. We shall see. I had a very productive evening. Anyway, I am excited and just wanted to tell somebody. Cheers! -troj |

I can't decide whether to take a date or not. I've already asked an old girlfriend if she has plans on 13th or 14th. I kept the 12th open, heh. I doubt I'll even hear back from her honestly. Well, it's prolly 50/50. Every time I talk to her she tells me to call. Then after some time we haven't talked, a day or two maybe more. I'll call and she wont answer. So I leave a messege and she doesn't call me back. So I'm thinking, whatever. I'm not calling chasing you down. She should respect me enough to reply to call. Then after some time, we'll sdee each other whether online or at a bar. We have great conversation and talk about going out and doing something and it never happens. See, when I got seperated from my x-wife. I picked up three girlfriends in a matter of a week. I was freaking out. Happy as hell. Well, she was one of those girls. I ended up trying to reconcile with x-wife and moved out of town not leaving us (4) all on good terms. I pretty much didn't tell her. But I've told her how sorry I was when I moved back. I am truely sorry for that, heh. I pity the foo... . Anyway, I just hit her up because she has the best job of any of my other gf's and believe she will be a classy date. Yes, I know more and a phone call wouldn't hurt, heh. At the Fest, I will be mingling, getting cards, maybe an autograph, and maybe, just maybe some early interviews for gehq. I think she could hang out while I meet and greet some very talented people. I've not had the chance to meet any new available women in this area for some time now. Unfortunately. They are all off to College or in the bigger cities in the region or married. Around here it's like 10/1 or worse, damn. And the other two? heh. One, I can't remember her last name and the group of friends I don't hang with anymore. Everybody grew up and got married, lol. The 3rd girl, my favorite ended up marrying one of my old house mates. So, since I've been back I've had no luck. They all moved after I did, that's it. Has to be, lmao. j/k. School and Careers did the trick... . There's one other girl that I left for the 12th that I haven't asked yet. I haven't decided if I should go with a buddy to watch the bluegrass project. What do you guys think? Buddy or 1 night girl? Remember, I'll be getting knowledge walking around alot shaking hands, maybe sitting down for a question, or quote. Something fun and cool for site. Whatever. I could tell this other chick nothing and just take her and freak her out with the socialism or tell her and make sure she is cool about it. Prepare her for it? What do you guys think? I'm wearing faded jeans and a camel hair jacket. White t-shirt? or Button down? Would you take a digital camera for stills to for website? I've got alot to think about, heh. Congrats if you got the end of it's entirety. That was alot of reading. Any feedback is much appreciated, heh. -troj

Most efficient with a good digital camera 3+MP and lots of storage..but are you after pictures or quotes and laughs? I would take a mini recorder for certain. There's no way you could remember the nutty things I say if we went on a 2 hour fishing trip...so record it ..wear it like a cell phone...leave it running and dont stop anyone to quote them..just leave it running. you get the best quotes ..when they aren't quoted..

I think I'll call a friend to pick me up and drop me off and have the date meet me in the alley on the other side of the courthouse for a drink a three before showtime. Then have my friend or me date drive home or drop me off at friends place. It'll be to far of a drive after drinking to go back to my place unless me date wanted to, heh... .

I already feel like Chong from Cheech and Chong, lmao. Remember when he loads up his drums and leaves his rich parents house, lol. I will hopefully make a good impression. I'm going to wear faded blue jeans, camel hair dress jacket, brown cowboy boots and a white t-shirt. I was told to dress casual. I asked if I needed to wear a tux or suit, lol. I'm sure I'll meet all types of people there. ------------------------------------------- Hey thanks Ath. Can you buy blank note cards? I should take some and a sharpie, eh Dr.B? |
