eek i can't get it up!!!!!!!

Hmmmmmmmm I'm doing a little map making and I stuck a ladder against the armoury but can't get my bloke up the damn thing (i slip off the side after about half way up) it's a bit like running up a slope thats too steep. Anyone know what the problem is? I've not made many maps so I'm confused. Cheers

Is this a coop or SP? If so, did you remember to click CLIMBS LADDERS in the AI attributes?

Hi m8, it's a multiplay map Deathmatch, I didn't know you COULD create single play maps, might have to have a crack at some

Are there more than one ladder sections? if so, the upper one is probably sticking out too far for you to get past. don't line them up exactly in the editor, try making the upper one stick out at the bottom away from the armory some.

As for SP/Coop maps for DLFW?

hehe. . .

Try these - some are REALLY hard!

Their just basic single ladders, but I take your point with leaning them out at the bottom. I'll try that. AND thanks for the download, I'll try that too

Hey, I've been trying out your maps A/W. Pretty cool m8, enjoyed bloody sunday, nearly got to the end before they got me. I'm guessing you've disabled the save function???? I'm getting a file not found message when I try to save it!! Good job though. Cheers

In custom coops/sp maps the save doesn't work - BUT - if you install Othello's patches for coop it does. I don't know if Stevie has them on this website, they're available at http://www.SabreCorps.com and http://www.CheckpointDelta.com in their download section.

When you play my maps, just remember to take out all the towers that you can see first, then work on the other peoples..

You are probably hitting the side of the armory, since the ladder leans into an object, (in this case, an armory). If you set the ladder to close you will either get to the top and kinda hop, but not get to the top, or you will get knocked off by the buildings wireframe.

Try moving the ladder back, or make it straight up and down (set pitch to -8)

If you zoom in on the ladder you can see its exact dimensions.
