Now this could be quite chilling if it's taken as fact but there are many skeptics who say it's all just coincident or is it?

Everyone seems to think that he is going to be one of the last popes. From what I hear we're supposed to have one crappy pope and then one really good one. Then there won't be any more popes.

EVERY TIME SOmething important happens in the world someone comes up with something off the wall why care whne its time its time there will be nothing u can do to change that so why worry about it at all just injoy life and don't worrie about stupid stuff.

the actual text dosent say that there will be no more popes, all it does is predict up until when he does, then he says something like the equivalent of "the end" (as in the end of the book, not the catholic church).

But anyway, i think that the terms is so loose that you can make it fit to anyone, the new guy is supposedly the olive branch, i maintain you could put in saddam hussein in the papacy and make that fit.

i been hearing the next pop they pick will be a crazy mad Pope.

he do thing way out of line were the people will hate him and the Catholic church lose respect of the world and they are remove from a lot of country's mostly Europe (states) country's.

next Pope after this one, he will do something and it will be their last Pope they ever will have.

a note they been counting down to the last Poppy it been talk about last 15-20 years now.

personally i think it all a joke.

PS he get the job mainly he shows he is a great person for the job but after he be come the pope, then he shows his true colors and they are not what the church like to see.

I agree with Killerbee and his comments. I posted this article to see what people had to say about it but I am amongst the skeptics as I've heard all this kind of thing before. From the recent millenium when the world would end on the stroke of midnight 2000 to way back in the first millenium where we are told everyone was quite convinced that the world would end then!

We've been told variously that we possibly will, freeze, burn, drown and be struck by a giant meteorite or asteroid that is of course if we don't nuke each other first or contract a desease that spreads globally!

It is an intersting article that people can interpret anyway they wish much like the predictions of Nostradamus but I certainly wouldn't want anyone to worry about it, that this world will end one day is certain after all, "all things must pass" but I certainly don't think we need to spend any of our precious time here in this wonderful world worrying about what might be.
