fonts always caps in photoshop :/

this is a bit weird, i just needed to type some stuff in photoshop in Arial font, but it will only output in captial letters :/

caps lock on or off doesnt matter.
all the fonts do the same thing

the preview in the layer menu is in small letters, but in the piece its in caps.

must be an option somewhere for this :/

any ideas?

very bizzare, i had to drag some text of another psd file, then adjust that text to ba able to do what i wanted.

I have some weird problems like that in ps once in awhile.. I usually just reboot and it fixes it

never seen it do this before, but PS does soem weird stuff every now and again. one problem is there is so many freekin shortcut keys, no matter what key combo u hit - whether u meant it or not - will do something, and not always for the good.

yeah I had to reinstall it a few times cause I mucked something up and couldn't fix it because i bumped a shotcut or something..

go WINDOW>CHARACTER

and make sure that the little "ALL CAPS" button is unclicked...it looks like "TT" its just two big T's

ya sounds like your font settings like ringer said, if you have the TT clicked in ps all the fonts will be caps

lol I once hit a shortcut that changed my dpi and didn't know...I couldn't use my pixel fonts for a week before someone told me they had done this by accident before too!
