To the terrorists!!!!
I got this letter in my email this morning from a good friend of mine in South Carolina and I couldn't agree more with what is says!
Regards Could not have said this any better myself! especially today - The lady that wrote this letter is Pam Foster of Pamela Foster and Associates in Atlanta. She's been in business since 1980 doing interior design and home planning. She recently wrote a letter to a family member serving in Iraq. Read it! WHAT'S ALL THE FUSS? "Are we fighting a war on terror or aren't we? Was it or was it not started by Islamic people who brought it to our shores on September 11, 2001? Were people from all over the world, mostly Americans, not brutally murdered that day, in downtown Manhattan, across the Potomac from our nation's capitol and in a field in Pennsylvania? Did nearly three thousand men, women and children die a horrible, burning or crushing death that day, or didn't they? And I'm supposed to care that a copy of the Koran was "desecrated" when an overworked American soldier kicked it or got it wet? Well, I don't. I don't care at all! I'll start caring when Osama bin Laden turns himself in and repents for incinerating all those innocent people on 9/11. I'll care about the Koran when the fanatics in the Middle East start caring about the Holy Bible, the mere possession of which is a crime in Saudi Arabia. I'll care when Abu Musab al-Zarqawi tells the world he is sorry for hacking off Nick Berg's head while Berg screamed through his gurgling, slashed throat. I'll care when the cowardly so-called "insurgents" in Iraq come out and fight like men instead of disrespecting their own religion by hiding in mosques. I'll care when the mindless zealots who blow themselves up in search of nirvana care about the innocent children within range of their suicide bombs. I'll care when the American media stops pretending that their First Amendment liberties are somehow derived from international law instead of the United States Constitution's Bill of Rights. I'll care when Clinton-appointed judges stop ordering my government to release photos of the abuses at Abu Ghraib, which are sure to set off the Islamic extremists just as Newsweek's lies did a few weeks ago. In the meantime, when I hear a story about a brave marine roughing up an Iraqi terrorist to obtain information, know this: I don't care. When I see a fuzzy photo of a pile of naked Iraqi prisoners who have been humiliated in what amounts to a college hazing incident, rest assured that I don't care. When I see a wounded terrorist get shot in the head when he is told not to move because he might be booby-trapped, you can take it to the bank that I don't care. When I hear that a prisoner, who was issued a Koran and a prayer mat, and fed "special" food that is paid for by my tax dollars, is complaining that his holy book is being "mishandled," you can absolutely believe in your heart of hearts that I don't care. And oh, by the way, I've noticed that sometimes it's spelled "Koran" and other times "Quran." Well, Jimmy Crack Corn and -- you guessed it -- I don't care!" |

Why condemn all that wear a turban?
It may be a funny idea but it's really a disgrace, and would just make every person who has ever worn or is wearing a turban angry with the states. |

The "disgrace" lies in the murder of innnocent people going about their legal daily routine and that is the only true "disgrace"! Regards |

So we should worry about someone being offended by our not liking turbans? Well I'm damned offended that their culture believes that suicide bombing is ok. I'm also offended that even though some of them or most of them may not agree with it, they allow the terrorists to stay there.

And it's your right to be offended but it's not your right to disrespect a culture, when it's only a specific region of that culture is the problem.
Think of it as if it were Christianity it would be the Protestants, or the Catholics that were responsable. You're talking about a small fraction of the whole bunch! |

Regardless of that comments like that are also offensive to all the other religions that wear turbans inclduing the sikh's, even if your christain you could be offended, since the turban has its part in christain history. |

Unfortunately attacks such as have been witnessed over the last few years are going to increase the kind of remarks we have seen here and like all generalisations they appear to attack all members of a particular group.
Stereotyping will always happen as it is part of human nature and in many cases all things can be considered offensive to someone some where. I'm sure that the fanatical bomber hiding behind his or her religious prejudice has no concern as to what someone may call them indeed they have no concern about human life turban wearing or otherwise. We in the Western world spend far to much time looking at our own conscienece whilst the evil bastards who conduct these attacks are not troubled by such concepts. Regards |

In short to hell with all of them and as I've indicated before the airports and seaports of Great Britain are open to those who choose not to accept our way of life to leave when ever they choose though it is doubtful that they will be tolerated so fairly by the political and religious leadership in their countries of origin. Simply put we are at war and whilst we may fight by rules and set boundaries on what we may or may not do, the people we are fighting are not trammeld by any such considerations and it may be time for us to approach this war by looking at other ways to prosecute it. We did not start this war and we did not wish for this conflict but now we are comitted to it we must with all vigour retaliate against those responsible for these attacks upon our way of life. In the second war we were forced to use the same barbaric methods, (with the exception of mass extermination in the case of the Nazi's and brutal and wicked mistreatment of prisoners of war by the Japanese), but we used every thing we had in our arsenal to defeat them including the totally justified use of 2 atomic weapons on the fanatics in Japan who would not have been defeated without huge loss of life for both the allies and the enemy had we chosen not to use those weapons. I suggest you address your questions to those responsible for beginning this wave of terror attacks as to who has sunken to any level and not to the law abiding citizens who are their victims.
