Yes, absolutely - that's the whole idea mate

A whole bunch of stuff is in the works for the community.

Coz Love Yooz All!

I'm spreading myself thin ATM because of other commitments but once all the debugging is done and I'm sure they do what ppl would want, they'll be ready to go.

Question Scott - RE File uploading...

Do I just upload to My Files? or would you like to examine and test everything first?

I can only test up to Window 8.1 - I don't have a Window 10 machine yet.

Plus a few questions regarding the loading of BHD pre-mission attributes need to be sorted out.

I wouldn't worry about testing to 10, if it works on 8.1 I'm pretty sure it will work up to 10 as they are mostly the same. When/if you have new versions, just use the edit file feature to submit a new link. I'll check them out. Just let me know when you do so I can have a look. Excited to see what you've done

I could use a 2nd pair of eyes

Building this type of tool for BHD has turned out more problematic than it is for DFX2, plus I'm not so sure how the program's Admin settings will go.

The tool writes to the BHD game folder which is usually in a sub directory of Program Files (x86).

I've heard of there being some issues for programs that create files there - especially in Windows 10?

Fine tuning the difficulty levels the tool applies could also use some testers.

Best bet is if it has to write to the program files folder, is to make sure the app opens with admin privileges from the get go (Not sure what language you're using). I can test it if you really want some help . Just PM me a link to the app and the file it's supposed to write to in the program files folder and I can test it on Windows XP to Windows 10.

That's really helpful Scott - Should have it ready sometime tonight (Friday my time).

RE: Writes

It actually just stores 3 files inside the exe and then according to the user selection - copies one of them to the DFBHD directory, so I don't know if that makes any difference - I have no trouble here with it set to run for all users on 98-XP2 to XP3 and with Admin rights for Vista to 8.1

Thanks, that was pretty quick.

Thought I'd tidy up a few loose ends.

Finish off some incomplete projects.

There's a few more Apps and Maps in the pipeline I haven't finished yet.

This one's been waiting for final testing for ages...

I'm making a BHD map with a few custom features in it for you to try it out on.

There's probably a few maps around with custom features - it just wasn't widely known or enabled at the press of a button - so I decided to fix that... and add some health tweaks to vary the challenges.

Enjoy
