I am sorry if anyone misconstrued my offer of hospitality and gesture of good will as a recruitment tactic. I just learned of this matter late today. The following is my response in our General Discussion forum to Gladiator when he dropped by just to say, "Hi!" before I had any knowledge of this incident. It should help to clarify my intentions when I extended the open invitation for anyone to participate in our General Discussion.

How the hell the United States and the United Kingdom remain allies is beyond me. We dont understand each other at all...... I love you all anyways but I almost choke with ironic laughter when someone not only utterly misunderstands a Brits post but then tries their damndest to rectify a situation they feel they have created.

As I remember it, the next step is for the American guy to get really offended by the flippancy of the Brit he is trying to apologise to.
Then the Brit feels guilty and says sorry to the US guy who ignores him for a week. The eventually both parties agree to forget it for their own very different reasons and we are all buddies again..
