DF2 V2.0 Mod Released

Thats right, DF2 isn't quite dead yet.

Our little mod group has created a new mod with 50+ new items, terrains, text, mission goals, etc. Pull your ol' DF2 out of the closet and give it a whirl.

Warning: This mod is not CB compatible, maybe in the future, but it doesn't give any type of advantage anyway so go ahead and try it out.

sad thing is with that site; is all files download are not resume supported and only one line to download the file with this means if the file get cutoff on the server end the file will be corrupted, will not state so so the end user who get this file may think it no good to start with.

so keep that in mind if you try to open the file and it say file maybe

A note i could not for the life of me find the reload weapon key listed or could find it at all in the key broad settings to reload the weapons of a another clip in

Nice Job, Good to see DF2 is not completely dead. I have tried all the rest but DF2 is still the most fun of all the Nova games. I could not however get the apt bldg to work, don't know if I did something wrong or what. Anyhow, great job I don't know how you guys put these mods together but it must take a lot of time and effort. It is greatly appreciated.

You could always just try it out in single player, when your done, simply replace df2.pff with a backup copy.

Sounds interesting! I'm still searching my pile of CD's for DF 2. Please give some details, e. g. if it is now possible to play in a higher resolution. I know, that there was the possibility to change it in the cfg., but the framerates went down to an unplayable number if you did so.

Yeah that's definitely true. If the game's on hardware mode that's not the case, but in order to have DF2 running successfully on hardware without any issues means you need a damn ancient graphics card. So most of the people are running it on software mode at low res yes.

I was just wondering if you would consider making a custom terrain for me, I would be more than happy to pay you for your trouble. I have a map in mind that I would like to make, but none of the terrains available would be suitable for it. Let me know if you get a chance.
