windows explorer crash

any of you guys ever had your windows explorer crash every time you search something?

I'll open a folder, click search, click "All files and folders" and a box comes up wanting me to send an error report to Microsoft. then all folder windows close, the desktop and the start menu disappears. about 3 seconds later the desktop and the start menu come back.

it does this every time I search.

here's the error report........

AppName: explorer.exe AppVer: 6.0.2900.5512 ModName: kernel32.dll
ModVer: 5.1.2600.5512 Offset: 00012aeb

nope. But i'm running IE 7.

Only problem I have is once in a while when trying to load a page I'll get a message saying it couldn't be loaded. Reloading the page fixes it though

If you put the entire error report into Google you get a list of links. The sponsored ones all offer free trial of kernel.dll repair.
I would go for one of them personally.

you updated windows? through their update site?

you could check for any minning cookies, adware, spyware in your system

some times they leech on to explorer and make it crash

try to scan using these items below google for them:
*Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
*Spybot - Search & Destroy

Just to make things a bit clearer:

Is your problem with WINDOWS EXPLORER or INTERNET EXPLORER?

do you still have your XP (or vista) install disk? boot up with that and pick repair windows, or repair anything or something along those lines.

hell idk, but what you should do is back up all your fav downloads, your screenshots, your chat logs, your porn, and your music onto a big flash drive.

then take that XP disk and reformat your hard drive completely.
