My Views on Delta Force: Xtreme---

Single Player:
_
So far the maps that I have played (all from DF1 and 2) have been carbon copies basically.. A little bit of change like on first mission they start you 600m from the old starting point and you have to drive and fight your way there.

New m4 sounds
_
New sounds and Effects on M 80
_
New Skins on dune buggy and bike
_
You CAN drive designated vehicles on Original DF maps BUT ONLY THE ONES they want you to drive and only when they want you to drive them.

Slightly improved GFX (not much)
_
The AI is a little on the stupid side
_
Multiplayer:
_
There is no LAN L but you can host your own locked server on novaworld….
_
I have not played on novaworld yet so I can’t tell you anything there….

Bottom Line-
_
SP is pretty good… MP No LAN is a disappointment but I can deal with it… the lack of guns is very bad but no big deal there will be allot of MODS in the future…._ Everyone saying “DFX Needs to be called Joint Operations Xtreme” is both right and wrong…. As you can see in SS’S it has allot of JO’S looks (Options Screen ect…) but it’s a far cry from JO…._ it has DF1 DF2 DFLW and TFD loading Screens it has DF1 and DF2 Single Player map selection and has old characters mixed with JO… they brought back the med and ammo packs like in BHD… In SP mode I did not notice any LAG or bugs...
the only things I found from JO so far is: Characters, Vehicles, Gun Designs and menu design...._The rest is all DF

Overall: I give NL thumbs up…_ its worth 20 bucks…

gee guy resize the screen shot gee 1024x768 is a bit big to download.
600x450 would be better still see every thing in the forum. or make some thumb nails to link to screenshots with.

will i don't think it bad at all, maybe they start to close all them novaworld servers down for them old games and leave the public server up only.

i like the details they do look good.

and by the way on that no lag thing... here's my systems specs..

Windows 2000 -- Stupid i know i have windows XP but windows 2000 works great as a web server...

AMD athlon XP ~ 1.3GHZ with 266 FSB the CPU stinks but hey it does the job...

1024 MB DDR Ram

128 MB Geforce FX 5200 (i think)

Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Pro.

sniper guns have no zoom and you only have the m24 and m80

they added allot of effects to them.

Lesser the guns ... the fewer the spammers ...

Never used Zoom when sniping

yes it came with MED its BHD's MED with new objects it also had NILE..

here's the new keychart they changed it a little bit.... (c4 detonator is backspace..)

nope no LAN.... looked and looked.....

I finished the SP it was GREAT!!! even the DFX maps were Good! there are 20 maps in SP... the last one is a doozy..... there great i cant wait to play online....

i love what they done to the SAW the m16 stinks m4 not to bad..

after completing the SP in 1 day and half.. i must say i did not find that many bugs.... the AI did shoot threw a few buildings.... but overall not bad....

just give me the SAW and ill be happy....

LAN is under the multiplayer tab. You choose if you want to search on LAN or NovaWorld for games and a host can choose to host either on NovaWorld or LAN only.
