Canadian Election 2006
Looking for some people's input on how they are going to be voting tomorrow, or have already voted in the advanced polls.
Leaders # Bloc leader Gilles Duceppe # Conservative leader Stephen Harper # Green leader Jim Harris # Liberal leader Paul Martin # NDP leader Jack Layton Other Leaders # Jean-Serge Brisson (Libertarian party) # Doug Christie (Western Block party) # Miguel Figueroa (Communist Party of Canada) # Connie Fogal (Canadian Action Party) # Ron Gray (Christian Heritage Party) # Blair Longley (Marijuana Party) # Tracy Parsons(Progressive Canadian Party) # Sandra L. Smith (Marxist-Leninist Party of Canada) # Barbara Wardlaw (First Peoples National Party of Canada) # Liz White (Animal Alliance Environment Voters Party of Canada) My Opinion I will not ever vote Steven Harper, not even if my life depended on it. Steven wants to turn us into the United States (no offense guys, it's just not what i think Canada is). He wants all our money to go towards military, which we don't need. There are far more important issues such as Health Care and Education that need to be taken care of as soon as possible. The marijuanna party is a joke, green party has nothing behind them, NDP is too left wing for me... so that leads me to who i voted for during the student vote. Paul Martin, Liberal Party of Canada. Corruption is not as significant as more thought. It is not all Martin's fault and he deserves a chance to prove it. What are your thoughts (if there are any other Canadians)? |

I voted for Harper! We are on the virge of a World of defense and offense to keep from having the new war of all wars! WWIII! It very well may happen in our lifetime. Jeff, you need him in charge! Canada is going to change and continue to be an ally of the US. Times are changing my friend!

Sorry Troj, but i don't think a trillion dollars of debt is what Canada needs right now.
Anyway, Harper did win. He won a Minority government. For those who don't understand that, it means that his party holds the most seats in our parlimentary building, but there are more seats than what they have if you combine the other parties. |

No need to apologize my friend. I'm concerned for our neighbors and a dept is nothing compared to a complete take over of a democratic country. Our freedoms and way of life and everything we have ever been taught could change if we lose a World War. It's about time Canada builds up the Military and assures the US, WE ARE WITH YOU!!

Jeff do think a Conservative leader will do anything radical politically in Canada?
