Old dfbhd DEMO map made by StevieB (SB_DDay)

SB_DDay

Anyone remember or got this map anywhere?

There were some armories in the beach with big buildings. If we went to the water, we die.

(Remembered after reading StevieB interview at Nova-Outpost)

the ones linked above look good

actually Scott was looking for the *PR* Normandy Server maps, we've had no luck so far, it would be with those plus a bunch more :/

/edit, looks like ive only got my DFLW and DF2 maps, really gutted tbh and actually glad i know i have a copy of the dflw stuff at least. i have this busted hard drive on my desk in front of me with all this stuff on it, cant bring myself to bin it

/edit2, Scott i even used to host the flippin page with the download :/ http://www.novahq.net/forum/showthread.php?t=11966 no other files on my old domain apart from 'box'? again all my websites and those backups are on my dead hard drive

the text file with the map says April 5 2003

Other Map Information

You may have guessed from the name of the map that this is a beach
assult/attack map. Two versions of the map are included currently,
Blue attacking the beach head and Red attacking in the other.
There are four PSP's on the beach so the attacking team can
progress up the beach rather than having to go all the way in one
go. Attackers are really under pressure and have minimal cover,
initially provided by a wall of sand, and further up the beach -
numberous rock formations.
The defending team looks down over the beach and has a line of
sandbags and assorted bunkers as cover. Check out the custom made
concrete bunker ;)

Installation Notes

Extract the files from the zip to your BHD game folder
Run your game
Enjoy the map

I asked Scott not long ago about the Normandy maps.
I didn't actually play BHD for long but it was my favourite BHD server.
I was on *PR* for a bit with Bluestar from DF1, as some rs. guys moved to BHD. Remember playing a lot of TKOTH but not a clue on the server.

Ignore my username; Sil.
