alt tab out problem

Hey all.I'm having this alt tab out problem .It started about a month ago.It minimizes ok but when I restore it from the task bar all I get is a black screen with a flickering silver border.The game is there because I can hear it but no picture.I'm running win xp with a radeon vid card.I've tried lowering all the settings but doesn't help.Also land warrior is doing the same thing.Also it is happening with a buddy of mine that I play with.My sons compu with win xp and a radeon card has no problems at all.Anybody got any ideas?

i know alot of peeps suffer with this problem it`s not your system m8 delta force just don`t like alt tab.
have you tried using windows button next to alt?

try to see what you have and your son don't have maybe something you added in could be doing it.

last you can try unstilling it remove the folder to the game
corrupited in the software and restill the DX8.1 or the New Dx9
think windows xp using the Dx9 serials now anyway i am using the Dx9 for my windows Me you could try to test this my using a screen saver one that use Dx the game run's on Dx and 3d-cards.

download the Dx9.0 home page "Click-here"
9 out 10 think this will help you game loads up but no Piture at all sound only think maybe the Dx is messup.

sorry doing this blind i am not at your Pc 1 do is restill it all if that don't help then restill the Dx back in. and maybe the 3D-Card that you have or Gif-card driver's software for it.

1.)it could be the game software is corriputed
2.)Dx. you have is messup (some time instill a game that game will instill a older Dx into your pc over writing the newer one.) has happen to me "Ms-Clue Cdrom game, did it to me.
3.)Gif-card did restill drivers for it (software for the card)

try using cntrl,alt and escape that works for me and it will also keep you from getting the boot due to innactivity

thanks guys but that didn't solve it.I tried control alt esc,the window key and installing direct X 9 but still the same problem.Actually I can alt tab out but Its when I restoe it that I have the no picture problem.I'll keep working on it and let you know if I figure it out.One other thing,I play the newBHD demo and I have no problem with the alt tab out .

personal i wish Novalogic.inc had a quick key setting for that 1-key to press to desktop were we can go to it fast to asker a message or call some one on a live talk tool like Roger wilco without going thur all these things to do.
"Tab + Alt, or Alt + Tab + Esc, some case using Tab + Esc"
to get to the desktop when we need to in the game play.
