Simple you have a bad install. and to me it sounds like you didnt install to a updated copy of the original DFX.

if you didnt create a new version then you will need to reinstall DFX, copy the folder and install to the copy.

copy what file and install what into the copyed folder?

copy your DFX folder. and install DJ3 or whatever mod to the copy. usualy its C:\Program Files\NovaLogic\Delta Force Xtreme.

All mods for DFX must have there own install to work.

If you uninstall your mod and there's still leftovers left (like when you uninstall A LOT of programs), delete the folder and then reinstall.

Like the rest said, try uninstalling and reinstalling. And and and, see if there's any updates for the mod.

I downloaded a mod from the TXP site for the dfx called chickin it's sopost to give you chickins in the MED but it didn't, how do you get the chickin into the dfx MED?

thats for mod makers to be able to add a chicken into JO/DFX made by LOA.

Its in the Special Ops mod already. Heres a video of the crazy birds: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8JW3EMTAx-M that Para1-FFS made. It takes quite a few steps to add them to your game. if you want to learn check out the forums at TXP.

Yep thats not a mod but a file which people can use in a mod there making, Loa created it and its hosted on TXP and Mod Depot downloads.

The only mod currently on TxpGone3D for games is the SO mod for DFX and the TXP mod for DF2 no other mod have been uploaded or submitted. The site is varly new I guess one could say but they strive to get the help out to those who need it and will take the time to write up a tutorial if need be.

Don't for get the free give aways that are there once and awhile you could get yourselfs a free game or something.

We use a program called FRAPS.

ive no clue on how to do the settings since ive only used it briefly. but its got a good enough faq that goes with it.

A profile is made in the DFX ITEMS.def for the chicken.

Hes got a tutorial for making it at TXP, and the items.def info is there. also theres a whole lot more to do with this file if you are new to this. such as items. what? where is that? DESCR? i dunno.

please give more info and not be cryptic to newbies?

well I fixed the DJ, what hapend was I had to reinstall the DJ before and I didn't delete all of the old DJ files before I installed it again, thanks for all of your help guys I could not have done it without you.
