Curse this wretched heat

The fury of summer fast approaches and we are at this time feeling the effects. The rising temperatures herald the onslaught of a far greater heat soon to come. My flat, my bunker, my holy sanctum has no protection against such vile weather. It has no insulation, no reflective paint. Nothing. So it acts like an oven. Everything inside cooks - even me. Unfortuanately, I wake up prematurely due to this vicious heat.

And so, I've had to abandon all operations on the computer, and flee to the sanctuary of the main house where the cool embrace of air conditioning welcomes me inside. So now I have to spend my gaming time lurking around the net and watching cartoons on cable.

Summer blows.

This is what I get for living in the Australian desert. And I thought the humidity in the tropics was bad.
