PS7 for design...
Dreamweaver for initial coding...notepad for additional, small adjustments in coding...

Photoshop 7.0 for designing and initial image slicing.

Then i move into the folder that i made for the website and name all images accordingly.

Third step is to delete any HTML Photoshop or Imageready gives you (BAAAAADDD Stuff)

Fourth step is to re-code the image map using neat HTML or XHTML/CSS (I use Regular HTML along with CSS and Javascript for my websites just for the easyness and simplicity). This is done in either Frontpage (just so i can review my work easily) or notepad/wordpad.

Fifth step is to give all images alt="" tags. Then insert a doctype and meta tags to the header to make your website more optimized for search engines to find you.

Sixth step is to upload your website and submit the URL to google and surrounding search engines.

Need i explain more?

Why do you use image ready to slice? You can slice in photoshop you know.. It will output the html and all the images together.. If you think your design though (which is more complicated the actually making it most times) then it's a very simple process.
