BlackBerry

Just got my first BlackBerry phone yeasterday. These things are awesome! Now I can check my email and browse the web anywhere I am.. Sounds really nerdy but you have no idea how many times I wished I had this when I didn't! Got Google Maps for when I get lost, google docs, google mail, an rss reader to read up on stuff when i'm bored and a bunch of other cool apps.

I ended up with the BlackBerry Pearl

Anyone else have a PDA / BlackBerry? KNow any good apps or mobile sites?

Yeah, I've had a Blackberry Curve 8300 for almost a year now. Best phone I have ever had, I even like them more than the iPhone

Yeah blackberry has there own OS. I would have liked Windows Mobile but i'll get used to this.

I herd lots of good things about the Curve. If these are as addicting as people say they are (i.e. CrackBerry) it will probably be my next. A few people at school have the iphone. Some things are really nice on it but i'd never get used to the keyboard. Plus i'm on Verizon so they don't carry it..

Know any good aps or really useful sites?

Been using it along with PalmOne Treos. This one better for sure.

I mostly use it for work email forwarding. ;-)

You could have just bought a blackberry and put google maps on it. Has GPS and turn by turn built in, for free

Mines pretty quick.. Not as quick as my cable at home but comparable to dsl... I get about 500-700k which is more then enough for browsing.

749kb/s from http://www.dslreports.com/mspeed?jisok=1

The internet with the default bb browser is boring.. but with Opera Mini with full site view it's pretty nice.
