A player in the distance is transparent?!?!

PROBLEM:
I see a sniper on the hill, and he is almost invisible. Is he cheating?

RESOLUTION:
The player is crouched or laying prone in the grass. At a great enough distance, the player begins to fade into the background to enhance the camouflage effect of the grass. This is a feature of the game, not a cheat or a “glitch”. You may or may not see the grass the other player is in depending on your “Terrain Detail” setting.
