Rainbow Six: Vegas Confirmed for PC?

Although Ubisoft has not officially confirmed the existence of Rainbow Six: Vegas for the PC, we've long suspected that they were working on the title simultaneously for the Xbox 360 and PC.

We saw a couple of new levels from the Xbox 360 version at the German Games Convention today, and followed up with Ubisoft on some of the various platform details. When asked what the differences in the PC and Xbox 360 versions were, an Ubisoft representative said, "I can't comment on the differences between the Xbox 360 and PC versions yet, but there will be a press release with that information soon."

From the extremely impressive demo that we've seen of Rainbow Six: Vegas, we certainly hope the game is coming to the PC with its current setting in the City of Sin. Unfortunately, it sounds like we'll have to wait just a bit longer to see if there actually is a straight-up version of Vegas for the PC or if it's a different PC title in the venerable Rainbow Six series.

That's good, t'least I ain't gonna have to wait for the PS3.

But then again... Killzone PS3... It gives me an unbridled feeling of anticipation... not much that the likes of any gamer ever experienced since the dawn of the PS, DF or any major game release.
